Seeing this, the Æsir quickly string together a net and cast it toward the sea.
They miss.

Seeing an opportunity to escape, Loki leaps towards the open ocean.
But just as the ground left Loki's fins, the Æsir grab him by the tail.
Filled with delight, the Æsir are ready to enact their vengeance on Loki. They lead him toward a cold dark cave, where a fate worse than death awaits him.
